At CGM we offer you a place to escape, a place to challenge your body and energise your mind. Centrally located in the hub of Maroochydore, it is our pleasure to provide you with professional Pilates and Yoga instruction, and state of the art wellness services right in the heart of the Sunshine Coast.

All equipment, including Allegro II reformers, Manduka Pro mats and all props for Pilates and Yoga classes is provided, so you can travel light.

Compliment your movement with our unique wellness services including massage and infrared sauna. Our massage and sauna facilities offer the ultimate in health and wellness experiences on the Sunshine Coast.

With a clear vision for the studio, owners Colina and Chris Morrison have created a space that is proudly environmentally friendly.

Where possible, the studio fit-out is built from local and ethically produced items, from the hand-made reclaimed timber furniture to the 100% VOC free paint on the walls and recycled toilet paper!

Our high performance, Manduka pro mats and props are made with zero waste and contain no toxic PVC, no latex, no phthalates, no heavy metals, so you can practice safely without fear of allergic reactions or toxins entering the body.

At CGM Pilates we endeavour to reduce our ecological footprint for a better, more sustainable future.

Colina Morrison

PILATES & YOGA INSTRUCTOR, STUDIO CO- FOUNDER

Colina’s passion for Pilates began in her teens, initially introduced as a way to complement her training as a professional dancer. Throughout her 10-year international career performing in stage shows, circuses, film, and television, she relied on Pilates to maintain her strength, flexibility, and alignment.

She holds a Diploma in Professional Pilates Instruction (Pilates ITC), has completed the BASI Global Comprehensive Teacher Training and Studio Pilates certification, and is also a 200-hour certified Yoga Instructor. In addition, Colina has a Diploma in Remedial Massage, a Diploma in Dance, and a Certificate IV in Fitness. Her commitment to lifelong learning has led her to study Pilates for neurological conditions, Buff Bones®, and Movement Anatomy,

With over a decade of teaching experience, Colina delivers dynamic, full-body classes that focus on core strength, lengthening, alignment, and enhanced mobility—all with a supportive and knowledgeable approach.

Chris Morrison

PILATES & YOGA INSRUCTOR, STUDIO CO-FOUNDER

Chris is a certified Polestar Studio & Rehab Instructor with additional qualifications in Studio Pilates Mat and Reformer. He’s also a 250-hour certified Yoga Teacher, and has completed 50 hours of Yin Yoga training with Santosha Yoga Institute.

His movement journey began in childhood as a competitive gymnast, where he developed a deep understanding of strength, control, and body awareness. After meeting his wife Colina over a decade ago, he was introduced to Pilates—and has been immersed in the practice ever since.

A true movement enthusiast, Chris feels just as at home on a surfboard, skateboard, snowboard, yoga mat, or reformer. He has a passion for human anatomy and is always expanding his knowledge to better support his clients.

At CGM, Chris brings a warm, energetic presence to every session. He’s committed to helping clients build strength, improve spinal mobility and stability, and deepen the connection between breath and movement. Seeing people grow stronger, more confident, and more connected to their bodies is what inspires his teaching every day.

Celia Day

PILATES & YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Celia holds a Diploma in Studio Pilates from Pilates ITC, along with certifications in Studio Pilates Mat and Reformer. She is also a 200-hour certified Yoga Teacher, having completed training in both Australia and Guatemala. In addition to her movement credentials, Celia is a Registered Nurse and is currently studying to become a certified Health Coach.

With a strong belief in holistic healthcare, Celia is passionate about supporting physical, social, and emotional wellbeing. She recognises that every body is unique and brings this personalised approach to all her sessions.

Her classes focus on alignment and technique, ensuring you get the most out of each movement. Blending experience, care, and a sense of fun, Celia creates a nurturing space where your whole body will be challenged and supported.

Danielle Blythe

PILATES INSTRUCTOR

Danielle first fell in love with Pilates while training as a professional dancer in London, quickly recognising its benefits for strength, alignment, and injury prevention. She went on to complete her Clinical Pilates Diploma and has continued to expand her knowledge through ongoing education, including Studio Pilates training and a Comprehensive Studio Diploma with Polestar.

Passionate about rehabilitation and postural alignment, Danielle is committed to helping her clients move better, feel stronger, and improve their overall quality of life. Her classes are energising, focused, and designed to help you get the most out of every session.

Mercia Cloete

YOGA TEACHER

Mercia has been practising Yoga as therapy since her early teens as a National Swimmer. She has a BSc in Zoology, Human Physiology and Nutrition, and over 500 hours of Teacher Training in the Ashtanga-Vinyasa System, Yin and Myofascial release.

She is passionate about the unique ability our yoga practice has to build strength and flexibility in the body and mind, creating deeper connection, understanding, compassion and trust in Self. Her yoga classes come with a healthy dose of laughter and a reminder to not take it all too seriously.

Jordan Myles

REMEDIAL MASSAGE TERAPIST

Jordan is a skilled and compassionate remedial massage therapist dedicated to the holistic healing of both the body and mind. With a deep understanding of the human anatomy and extensive training in various massage techniques, Jordan provides personalised treatments tailored to individual needs. Where appropriate, Jordan incorporates dry needling, cupping, and hot stones.

Committed to ongoing professional development, Jordan stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in remedial massage therapy and mental health practices. Jordan's passion for healing, combined with a comprehensive approach to wellness, enables clients to experience not only physical relief but also mental and emotional transformation.

Christine McDaniel

YOGA TEACHER

With over a decade of teaching experience, Christine is a dedicated yoga practitioner with an attraction towards Eastern philosophy, Five Element Theory and creative expression through movement. She has found the potency of the yoga practice amongst life's fluctuations with the ability to steady the mind, reground the body and enliven the heart.

Christine's classes are informative and considered, weaving together aspects of strength and softness. With her sincere and gentle presence, she aims to provide students with the ability to sense overlooked subtleties and practice deep listening. As a result, students can recognise and honour the edge where they feel mentally and physically challenged, while still finding balance and ease.

Lexi Garland

PHYSIOTHERAPIST & CLINICAL PILATES INSTRUCTOR

Lexi is a Senior Physiotherapist with over 12 years experience, working in areas of musculoskeletal, sports Physio, chronic pain management, Women's Health, neurological conditions and athletic development.

When Lexi completed her Physiotherapy degree she intuitively knew she needed to study the Pilates method to better help her clients with their journey to recovery and wellness. She went on to complete numerous Pilates courses over the years, before completing a Diploma in Rehabilitation Pilates through Polestar Pilates in 2018.

Lexi enjoys the innovative, exciting and effective approach that Pilates can bring to her clients whether they are recovering from injury or simply looking to improve health and wellbeing.

Kathy Grant

YOGA TEACHER

With over 25 years of experience in movement, wellness, and education, Kathy is an ERYT 500 senior yoga teacher, Accredited Exercise Physiologist, and creator of The Yoga Method 250hr teacher training program. Her background includes a Postgraduate Diploma in Exercise Therapy, a B.Sc. in Exercise Physiology, and decades of teaching across fitness, yoga, and health education.

Yoga has been her anchor for over 20 years, supported by extensive training with renowned teachers like David Swenson, Kino MacGregor, and Mark Robberds. Kathy’s classes combine precise alignment, functional movement, and a deep understanding of anatomy to empower students of all levels.

David Hardy

Yoga Teacher

David has been a dedicated student of yoga since 2009, when he discovered that a consistent practice helped relieve his chronic back pain and sciatica. Inspired by its transformative benefits, he completed his 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2019 and began teaching the same year. He has since expanded his knowledge with a 110-hour Meditation Teacher Training and an additional 300-hour YTT.

Also a creative visual artist, David brings a calm, thoughtful presence to his classes. He believes our daily practices shape our life experience—and that yoga offers powerful tools to live with greater intention and clarity.

David creates a safe, grounded space for students to explore and deepen their practice. His soothing voice and steady energy guide students inward, making each class a rich, personal journey not to be missed.

Kate Wood

PILATES INSTRUCTOR

Kate’s love of movement began early, coaching gymnastics while pursuing her own training. As she transitioned into dance, she discovered Pilates as a powerful tool to enhance performance in ballet, acro, and running—while also supporting injury prevention and recovery. Despite a lifelong connection to movement, Pilates was truly transformative.

Kate is passionate about helping others experience the benefits of mindful movement. She focuses on cultivating healthy movement patterns that not only support daily wellbeing but also empower you to pursue your passions beyond the studio.

She is a certified instructor in Mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates, Barre, and Yoga, and continues to share her love of movement by teaching acro and dance to children.

Ramona Packham

PILATES & BARRE INSTRUCTOR

Ramona is an accredited Osteopath and Clinical Pilates Instructor, trained through the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute and Victoria University.

Passionate about holistic health, Ramona is dedicated to helping others feel their best through movement. Her classes are fun, supportive, and tailored to the individual—designed to empower clients with strength, mobility, and confidence in their bodies.

Ali Hayes

PILATES INSTRUCTOR

Ali has an immense love for movement herself which has evolved into undertaking her 200hr yoga teacher training and reformer Pilates certification with Polestar Pilates. As well as instructing Pilates, Ali has shared her passion for movement as a volunteer running guide for visually impaired athletes.
Alongside full-time work as an Environmental Scientist, instructing reformer classes is her passion project driven by her love for movement and desire for others to feel empowered
within themselves. Ali is committed to helping clients realise their potential and to nurture new body and mind experiences while celebrating movement, having fun and building
community.
You’ll see Ali alongside you in classes or can experience her fun and cheerful style in the reformer studio.
